We work closely with individuals to transform real-life experiences into thoughtfully written novels and literary keepsakes.
Your story is personal. Your privacy matters deeply to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and ultimately delete your information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to create your personalised work, including:
- Personal details shared voluntarily
- Stories, memories, messages, and voice notes shared via WhatsApp
- Communication details for coordination and delivery
- Payment-related information processed via trusted payment gateways
We do not collect unnecessary personal data.
3. How We Collect Information
Information is shared directly by you through:
- WhatsApp messages or voice notes
- Optional calls or conversations during the writing process
We do not scrape, track, or collect personal data from external sources.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used only to:
- Understand your story and creative requirements
- Write, edit, and deliver your personalised novel
- Coordinate printing and delivery where applicable
- Communicate clearly during the project lifecycle
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
5. Use of AI-Assisted Tools
SoulScript Legacy may use AI-based tools in an assistive capacity only, including:
- Draft refinement and language polishing
- Creative brainstorming and idea exploration
- Cover concept ideation
All storytelling structure, emotional depth, narrative direction, and final editorial decisions are human-led. AI tools do not independently create final manuscripts.
6. Storage of Information
Client files may be temporarily stored:
- Locally on secure personal devices
- On private Google Docs used solely for drafting and editing
Access is strictly limited to the writer/editor involved and, where applicable, a trusted printing partner.
7. Printing & Third-Party Services
For printed editions, manuscripts are shared only with a trusted third-party printing partner.
- Files are used strictly for printing purposes
- No copies are retained after printing
- No data is reused or redistributed
8. Data Deletion & Retention
All client-shared information — including drafts, messages, photos, and documents — is permanently deleted after delivery of the final novel, except where limited retention is required for legal, accounting, audit, or dispute-resolution purposes.
In such cases, any retained materials are stored securely, access-restricted, and are not used for any purpose other than resolving legal, payment, or service-related matters.
Early deletion may be requested at any time after project completion, subject to the retention requirements stated above.
9. Information Sharing
We do not share your information with third parties except:
- Payment processors (e.g., Razorpay)
- Printing partners (only if a physical book is ordered)
Your story is never used for marketing or portfolio purposes without explicit written consent.
10. Payments
Payments are processed through Razorpay or other agreed methods. We offer full prepaid orders and COD orders with a 50% advance payment.
We do not store card or bank details.

- Ask how your information is being used
- Request clarification at any stage of the project
- Request deletion of files after delivery

13. Consent & Pre-Engagement Policy.
By engaging with our services and proceeding with a confirmed booking, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy, solely for the purpose of delivering our services and complying with applicable laws.
Pre-Booking Information Sharing: SoulScript Legacy does not request or require clients to share personal stories, sensitive information, voice notes, or detailed personal content prior to confirmation of booking and payment.
Any personal or sensitive information shared voluntarily before a confirmed booking is shared at the client’s own discretion and risk. SoulScript Legacy does not assume responsibility for the security, confidentiality, or storage of such information shared prior to formal engagement.
To protect both client privacy and platform security, unsolicited sharing of sensitive personal content prior to booking may result in temporary restriction or refusal of service access. This measure is intended solely to maintain privacy, safety, and ethical boundaries.
14. Legal Disclosure & Government Requests
We respect the privacy and confidentiality of our users’ personal information, stories, conversations, and submitted content. We do not share personal data with any third party except in the following circumstances:
(a) When required to do so by applicable law, regulation, court order, legal process, or valid request by government or law enforcement authorities.
(b) When disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and policies, protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, our team, or the public, or to prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activities.
(c) In cases involving serious harm, threats to life, or criminal activity, where disclosure is legally required or permitted.
In such cases, we may share only the minimum amount of information required by law. Wherever legally permitted, we may notify the user about such disclosure.
