Content Boundaries & Story Intake Policy
1. What We Do
SoulScript Legacy creates private, personalised novels based on real-life stories shared by clients. These novels are intended for personal gifting and private use, not for public publication by default.
2. Client Responsibility for Inputs
The client is solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership/permission of all story inputs shared with us, including names, events, images, screenshots, and any third-party references.
If your story includes other individuals (e.g., ex-partners, colleagues, friends, family), you agree to avoid sharing sensitive personal data about them that you do not have a lawful right to share.
3. Names, Identifiers & “Real People” Safety
To reduce legal and privacy risk, SoulScript Legacy may request clients to use initials, nicknames, or fictionalised names for third parties. We may also modify or remove identifying details (e.g., workplace, exact address, phone number, or unique identifiers) if required for safety or compliance.
4. We Will Not Write Content That
- Attempts to defame, threaten, harass, or “expose” an identifiable individual
- Contains blackmail, coercion, or revenge intent
- Requests fabrication of false accusations presented as fact
- Includes sexual content involving minors, or sexual content that implies non-consent
- Asks for illegal instructions or content meant to facilitate wrongdoing
If a request crosses these boundaries, we may refuse, re-scope, or terminate the project.
5. Right to Refuse, Pause, or Terminate
SoulScript Legacy reserves the right to refuse, pause, or terminate any project that poses legal, ethical, safety, or operational risk. This includes situations where the client insists on including identifying details of third parties or requests content intended to harm others.
6. No Legal Advice
SoulScript Legacy is a creative service and does not provide legal advice. Any decisions to share, gift, or display the novel are the client’s responsibility.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
